The Jar was founded by a group of friends, who were tired of eating the same immortal sandwiches with chemical additives and candy bars in university. Studying by day, but brainstorming by night, we were trying to find a healthy solution to our daily problem, as the constant lack of time and the ‘on the go’ rhythm often made it difficult to eat well. This provided the inspiration for us to come up with The JAR - a healthy vending machine concept that would offer quick, nutritiously balanced, reasonably priced food and could be accessed anytime and installed literally anywhere!
Since then our goal has been to provide healthy food options to people on the go, wherever they are: busy at the office, at school, or even sweating it out at the gym.
We have been carefully selecting our products and building long term relationships with the best local cafes and suppliers to make sure we are always stocked up on everything you need: delicious, healthier bites, beverages and even fresh lunch meals - all at the click of a button in all of our healthy vending machines in London. Vegan, kosher, sugar or gluten-free? You name it, we have it.
The Jar’s goal is to bring healthier snack & drink options to busy people wherever they are, whenever they need them. We believe that lack of time doesn’t mean rushing through lunch or compromising on wholesome food. We also believe “wholesome” can be the synonym of “delicious”, and our handpicked product selection is just another way to prove that. Good food is the surest way to a happy and healthy life.
